Learning from our clients and patients the urgent need for experienced, expert guidance for our own age group, we searched for online coaching and courses promoting knowledge that could provide extraordinarily effective guidance and were grounded on an evidence-based foundation of whole health - Mind, Body and Spirit. That inspired us to create the gold standard of web-based instruction and coaching for our tribe.

Dan Taylor, NASM-CPT

Currently on-track to earn a masters degree in sports nutrition in August 2023, Dan started Tri Valley Trainer, a private personal fitness training studio and corporate wellness business in 1998. He is devoted to teaching people of all fitness levels how to exercise safely and effectively and eat for optimal health and performance while managing a busy life. Dan is a former faculty member for the American Council on Exercise and the National Academy of Sports Medicine, is a designated group expert for "Fitness for 50 and Over" and "Fitness Over 60ish" Facebook groups (40k+ combined members), and is a former contributing writer on wellness for Patch.com. He practices and promotes an intuitive, deeper wisdom approach to whole health.
Anne Moselle, M.S., R.D.
Dietitian, Health and Wellness Coach
Anne’s passion is helping others achieve their wellness goals, while enjoying what they eat. She loves to cook and share her creative recipes and cooking techniques to help you achieve your nutrition goals. She supports the theory of “everything in moderation”. Anne brings a unique perspective to cooking with her extensive nutrition background. She has many years of experience working in hospitals, wellness centers and dialysis centers.

Contributors and Advisors

Moji Tehranian, NASM-CES, 200 Hr YTT discovered fitness in the late 80s and finds joy and contentment in empowering others to reach their fitness goals. Her approach to fitness rests on the complementary concepts of balance and moderation, and her genuine, positive energy and warmth help her to connect with her clients and yoga students. Moji is a Cornell certified wellness coach, former fitness competitor and yoga studio owner who is an enthusiastic example and teacher of the fitness lifestyle.

Melissa Taylor, NASM-CPT has provided fitness training and healthy eating guidance to clients ranging in age from teens to 70+ since 2012. She practices a time-efficient, highly effective approach to exercise that emphasizes control and goal-specific programming, and advocates a balanced, varied, nutrient-rich eating approach that also promotes pleasure and enjoyment.

Dr. David Bell is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine. Dr. Bell is in the first group of orthopedic surgeons to receive a sub-specialty certificate in sports medicine from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Bell is the founder of the Bell Sports Medicine Institute, a state-of-the-art orthopedic surgery practice dedicated to excellence in the treatment of sports injuries. He is committed to getting patients healthy, healed and fit, and to bringing innovation to the highest quality care. Dr. Bell has served as team physician for the San Jose Stealth Lacrosse team, Cal State East Bay Pioneers, Ohlone College Renegades, and several high school teams and sports leagues.

Ida Hirst, Physical Therapist and Owner of Physical Therapy Specialties in the East San Francisco Bay area, has a special knack for discovering the source of painful conditions. She has practiced for over 30 years and has had extensive training in the treatment of musculoskeletal problems. She enjoys working with a team of highly skilled therapists that have joined her practice, allowing more people to benefit from physical therapy across many age groups and diagnoses. Ida believes a person shouldn’t need medication every day for pain. She recognizes that each patient recovers at a different pace and that the intensity of therapy needs to vary from one person to the other.
